Spinal Cord Injury

Define

Injuries to the spinal cord vary greatly in cause and severity. Spinal compression fractures are a common form of spinal cord injury, and frequently occur in older patients, often times as a result of osteoporosis. Spinal compression fractures occur when a buildup of hairline fractures in the spine cause vertebrae to collapse. Other kinds of spinal injuries may result from trauma, like car accidents or impact sports. Regardless of their severity, all spinal cord injuries require prompt attention by a medical pain specialist.

After seeing DR. Schmidt, my back is now 95% pain free, I’m learning to walk again. My only regret is that I didn’t find this sooner.

I have Proliferative Therapy done in June and I do not have any pain anymore. I do not have any pain anymore. I have not had to wear my knee brace, I can exercise and I can walk steps. I can put my weight on my right leg to go up steps.
